how do I program new vehicle skreem?

I put a new skreem in an 06 grand caravan and tried to use the vehicle pin but the new skreem is not programmed to the vin so it would not let me in. Am I missing something? -

i am having the same problem. is there a new pin ?.. hook up the old unit and i can get in, new one says incorrect pin. and the vin says 777777777.

No you guys are not doing anything wrong is the tool that is not working propertly, it
will work on some vehicles and not on others hopefully autel sorts this out along with
many other functions on chrysler like pinion factor wcm replacement etc. -

Hello,As stated by ede65, the function to program keys where it required the 4 digit pin. It is a issue and needs to be datalog or our engineers from our main manufacture will have to field test these vehicles. We need to track down what type of immobilizer does this issue occurs. We have confirmed that some of our Chrysler vehicle can program keys using the 4 digit pin from dealer.
